Is Maid in JC fully Insured & Bonded?
Yes, and we'd be happy to provide formal certificates for your review.

How many people will be cleaning my home?
We work as a minimum, two-member team - but oftentimes with more staff.

How long will an initial appointment take?
We bill in 15 minute increments and have the following minimums:  Studio = 1.5hrs,  1 bed/1 bath = 2 hrs,  2 bed/2 bath = 2.5 hrs.

How often should I have my home cleaned?
That's a personal preference. If you choose to book our service your options are weekly, bi-weekly, or every four weeks. You can also book on an occasional basis. 

Do I have to be home when you clean our home?
No, its's your preference to be home or not. The majority of our clients provide us with a key to their residence and it is kept in a secure lockup area in our office, number coded without name or address identifiers.  You are also welcome to leave Permission to Enter and keys with the concierge desk.  

Do you use my vacuum and cleaning solutions?
Maid in JC provides state-of-the-art equipment and all of our cleaning solutions are environmentally safe and biodegradable. 

Floors:  Damp Mopping & Steaming & Scrubbing - what's the difference?
Damp Mopping:  is gentle and removes surface dirt. This is included in each visit.  It will not lift dried liquids (especially milk) and dried food particles.                                            Steaming:  removes most dried stains and sticky residue - it also sanitizes using only heated water vapor.   Please call us to discuss the upcharge.                                                      Scrubbing:  dislodges dirt from bath & kitchen tile -  3 scrubbing heads clean both the tile and the grout.   Please call us to discuss the upcharge.                                                                                                                
What about my pets? We have a dog and a cat.
 We love animals but even the friendliest dog can become nervous when the vacuum cleaner gets going. Our safety, and your pets’ comfort, are important.  We ask that your pet is restrained and/or that you are home to supervise until animals and team members are accustomed to one another. We cannot be held responsible for unsecured pets during the time of the appointment.

When are you available to clean?
We work from Monday-Friday,  from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  

Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes and they make a perfect gift for new parents, busy professionals and anyone who needs a treat!

Do I have to sign a contract?
No, but we do request 24 hours notice for any cancellations.

Is your service guaranteed?
100% - If ever you have an issue with our cleaning, just reach out within a 24 hour period and we'll work our best to make you happy.  We do not offer refunds or discounts.
